Terms of Service

"GROUND," "we," "us," or "our" refers to Nassim El Bouh, an individual based in France operating the GROUND mobile app and this website. These Terms govern your access to and use of GROUND. By creating an account or using GROUND, you agree to these Terms.

Through GROUND you can:

• ·Discover pitches, courts and grounds on a map, across football, padel, tennis and basketball
• ·Create, join and manage games and events
• ·Join or create clubs, groups, leagues and tournaments
• ·Talk with other players through chat, the social feed, and live voice rooms

GROUND connects players and organisers, it is not a party to any arrangement between an event's organiser and its attendees.

You must be at least 16 years old to create a GROUND account. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement. We rely on the birthdate you provide at signup and do not independently verify your age.

GROUND does not process any payment. An event's organiser marks it as either:

• ·Free, no payment expected from attendees.
• ·Cash, the organiser and attendees have agreed, outside the app, that attendees will pay a fee in person. GROUND is not involved in that payment: we do not collect it, hold it, guarantee it, or mediate disputes about it.

If GROUND introduces in-app payments in the future, this section will be replaced with a full payments section before that feature is released, and you'll be asked to accept updated Terms.

You agree not to:

• ·Use GROUND for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, threaten, or discriminate against others, including in chats or voice rooms
• ·Misrepresent your identity, age, or authority to act on behalf of a club or group
• ·Record or rebroadcast another user's voice from a GROUND voice room without their consent
• ·Attempt to defraud another user in connection with a Cash event or otherwise
• ·Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with GROUND's systems

Hosts and moderators of voice rooms and group chats may mute or remove participants who violate these Terms; GROUND may suspend or terminate an account for repeated or serious violations.

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant GROUND a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute it as necessary to operate GROUND. You're solely responsible for content you post and confirm you have the rights to share it. GROUND does not record or retain voice room audio.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or pose a risk to other users or to GROUND. You may delete your account at any time in Settings, see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

GROUND is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee events will take place as scheduled, that venue information is accurate, or that any user will behave as expected. GROUND is not liable for injuries at an event or venue, disputes about a Cash payment, or disputes between users, except where liability cannot be excluded by applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with mandatory local consumer-protection law, nothing in these Terms deprives you of the protections that law grants you, or requires you to bring a claim outside the courts of your own country of residence where that law entitles you to do so.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes via in-app notification before they take effect. Continued use of GROUND after a change constitutes acceptance.
